I speak from the heart when I express how grateful and humble I am to be a part of a student's journey to learn violin joyfully. It is an incredible honor to nurture the student's love for music and cultivate a learning environment that, through encouragement and enthusiasm, allows their passion and talent to thrive.
Each student is completely unique - in how they learn, what inspires them, their hobbies and interests - their uniqueness is infinite. Each student is so much more than just a violinist, but a person. Just as their lives are enriched by learning violin, their violin life is enriched by relating it to other aspects of their life that bring them joy. I firmly believe that learning the violin offers so much more beyond learning the violin.
Through taking private violin lessons, a student thinks more creatively in all aspects of their life. They build self confidence, learn how to set and achieve goals, become experts at time management through strategic practicing, and are empowered by overcoming challenges they never thought possible. I am fortunate enough to witness this in each and every lesson I teach.
Learning violin is such an incredible journey. Encouraging each student as an individual, supporting them as they are at that moment in time, and being receptive to the student's needs above all else truly allows the student to find their own violin journey...wherever it may lead them.
