A private lesson is a unique one-on-one learning experience, where just you and your teacher spend your lesson time in the structure and pace that is best for your learning style. 

That is entirely up to you! Each private lesson can be 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or a full hour in length.

Lessons can be scheduled for once a week or twice a week, although I have had some super enthusiastic students ask for three lessons a week!

That is a great question! If you are like me, you knew you wanted to learn violin as soon as you were born! I teach students starting at age three, and have taught students ranging from ages three to 85!

Absolutely! Suzuki provides a strong foundation for any violinist, and allows them to develop their ear and learn new technical skills with each new song.  I also teach Traditional Classical, Improvisation, and alternative genres such as Jazz, Pop, and Rock. Any music that motivates the student, I am happy to teach!

I am currently teaching online only to protect the safety of my students and their families. However, virtual lessons are just as much fun! I decided to give virtual lessons a chance four years ago, at the request of my students who happened to be traveling or had moved away. It was such a success that I have continued teaching online lessons as an addition to the "in person" model ever since! I plan on continuing with online only and to resume in person lessons when it is safe to do so!
